So last week was one of the most frightening experiences of my life. As most of you know my dad had multiple heart attacks two major ones, but mini ones the rest of the days. I don't know what I would do without my dad. He's doing OK other than pushing himself more than we all think he should. He's back to work(the shop) and next week he will go back to Birds Trucking.
We all hope that things with my dad will get better (the situation with family).
As for things with Tope, things are going well. We are thinking about Oct. I will just fly to Lagos and get married there. We will be going to an attorney to get everything set up so hopefully he can come back with me, If not then we will just manage as we always have.
Everything else is going OK, missing my BFF! Cyd and I are moving to a different apt. in the same complex, It will be a good move lower rent and all!!!!! whooo hooo more money!!
Anyways, oh I'm making jewelery that I'm going to try and sell on Etsy.com. I must say there aw some looking. Most are necklaces but a few pairs of earrings also.
New project, I'm redoing my couches. Well that's about all today, hope it all makes sense if not oh well.

So you left out somethings when we talked on the phone? I didn't know you were thinking about selling your jewelry. And the marriage in Oct.? When did you decide?
ReplyDeleteHave you thought about filing the papers here in the US. It takes up to 8 months to process a fiance visa. You could do that now while you're waiting to go to Lagos. Perhaps they'll even approve him before you leave in Oct and you'll have no problem bringing him home with you. Let's talk later today, ok?
I guess I just feel left out somehow. Okay, I know that I'm just being silly. Love you tons and we (the kids and I) hope and pray that your dad's condition continues to improve.

ReplyDeleteYa, I plan on going to that lawyer, and filing papers. Oct. is just a thought, even if that ,papers are not thru then we will just get married then continue with them. Dad is doing ok, really he is doing to much, but he has settled down just a bit. Ohhh so much to tell you about the cousin situation ahhhhhh anyway love you and the kids
